The Samiway is run by the Gaup family in the reindeer herding district of Artni siida in Northern Norway.
We have winter pastures in Kautokeino, Finnmark and summer pastures on the islands Arnøy and Kågen in Northern Troms. We want to invite people all around the world to visit us and learn about our unique lifestyle.
The Samiway is owned by Nils Peder I. Gaup and his wife Inger Ellen E. Gaup together with their children.
Reindeer herders are the bearers of traditional, Sámi knowledge.
knowledge that has been passed down from generation to generation.
