This was a really authentic experience with a reindeer herding family and we would thoroughly recommend it.”

Testimonials
“Amazing experience with a real Kautokeino Sami reindeer herding family, just like in the childhood book we read! And oh, I fell in love with reindeers!
I found The Samiway online. Despite it being last minute, Nils and his daughter Anne invited us to a VIP feeding tour at the reindeer base where they live during the winter. So we not only got to meet real Sami people and their reindeer, but we got to see the real modern Sámi people's lives.
While feeding the reindeers, it started to snow a lot! Nils in his traditional outfit and the reindeer around us while the snowflakes dropped, it was simply magical!
Thank you for this wonderful experience! We'd definitely come back again!”
